Who is Litmus

Litmus is building the data foundation that powers industrial AI.

AI doesn’t work without real-world, contextualized data - Litmus makes that data usable. As AI adoption accelerates, most industrial environments still can’t access or use their operational data. We solve that gap.

We’re a growth-stage software company helping manufacturers access, structure, and use real-time data from machines, systems, and sensors at the edge. Our platform sits at the intersection of edge computing, AI, and industrial operations, enabling some of the world’s largest companies to run operations in real time, reduce downtime, and optimize production.

Backed by leading investors and trusted by global manufacturers and partners like Google, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, and Mitsubishi, Litmus is powering the shift toward software-defined manufacturing.

Why join Litmus

##

Build the infrastructure that makes industrial AI possible

AI is moving beyond the cloud and into the physical world. At Litmus, you’ll build the infrastructure that enables real-time data to power AI and machine learning systems in production environments.

##

Work on problems where software meets the real world

Most AI systems fail without access to real-world data. You’ll build the layer that makes them viable in production. We solve challenges at the intersection of distributed systems, real-time data, and industrial constraints — where reliability, scale, and performance are non-negotiable.

##

Have real impact, fast

You’ll work on systems used by real customers in production, with direct impact on product and company trajectory. As a scaling company, we move quickly. You’ll have ownership, visibility, and the ability to shape both product and company as we scale.

##

Join a high-performance team

We’re building a team that holds a high bar and pushes each other to improve. You’ll work alongside experienced operators, engineers, and leaders who have done this before and are building again at scale. We hire people who take ownership, move quickly, and care about outcomes. No passengers.

Our culture

At Litmus, the team is collaborative, curious, and low ego. People are scrappy, take ownership, and look for ways to make an impact. We value empathy just as much as execution, whether that’s in how we build, how we communicate, or how we support each other.

We’re a growing company, so things move quickly and not everything is perfectly defined. If you enjoy figuring things out, working closely with others, and making steady progress, you’ll do well here.

About the role

Litmus is hiring an Account Executive to own and grow new business with industrial manufacturers across Southern Europe, primarily Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Litmus is an industrial DataOps and edge AI platform. We help manufacturers connect, normalize and use data from their plants, from shop-floor assets up to the cloud. Our customers use Litmus to break down OT data silos and scale analytics and AI across sites.

You will be the face of Litmus in Southern Europe. You will build pipeline, run complex enterprise sales cycles end to end, and work closely with our pre-sales team, hyperscaler partners (Microsoft, AWS, Google, Databricks) and system integrators. You report to the EMEA sales lead.

What you will do

• Own a Southern Europe territory and its revenue target, from prospecting to signed contract and expansion.

• Build and qualify pipeline through outbound, events, partners and inbound leads.

• Run discovery with plant, operations, OT and IT stakeholders up to C-level, and map their business case for change.

• Lead structured, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, including proofs of value, commercial proposals and negotiation.

• Work hand in hand with pre-sales on demos, solution design and technical validation.

• Co-sell with hyperscalers and system integrators, and develop partner-sourced opportunities in your region.

• Keep forecasts and opportunity data accurate in Salesforce.

• Expand existing accounts from first site to multi-site and global rollouts.

• Bring market feedback back to product, marketing and leadership.

What you bring

Segment experience (required)

• 5+ years of B2B enterprise software sales, with a proven record of meeting or beating quota.

• Direct sales experience in industrial software: IIoT, industrial DataOps, data historians, MES, SCADA, edge computing or manufacturing analytics.

• A solid grasp of the OT/IT landscape in manufacturing, and of how plant data flows from machines to the cloud.

• Experience selling into manufacturing, process industries, energy or similar industrial sectors.

Southern Europe market knowledge (required)

• An established network among industrial manufacturers in Spain, Portugal and/or Italy.

• A working understanding of local buying culture, decision-making and procurement.

• Familiarity with the regional partner and system integrator landscape.

• Fluency in English and Spanish or Italian; Portuguese is a plus.

How you work

• Comfortable running long, complex deals with many stakeholders.

• Disciplined in qualification and forecasting (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or similar).

• Self-driven and at ease building a territory in a growing team.

Nice to have

• Experience selling alongside Microsoft, AWS, Google or Databricks.

• Track record of displacing incumbent industrial software, such as historians or legacy integration tools.

• Experience in an early-stage or scale-up team in a new region.

Travel and location

• Up to 40% travel within Southern Europe and to EMEA team and partner events.

• Based in Southern Europe, ideally near Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Lisbon or Porto.
