Account Executive- Full Cycle

About Plein Air

Plein Air is built on a simple belief: the best ideas come from real experiences with real people. Our name is inspired by the French painting movement en plein air, where artists left the studio to paint landscapes directly within their environment. We believe proximity to insight is far more powerful than proximity to collaboration. For us, the office isn’t a building- it’s wherever you go to see, learn, and create.

We are a fully remote team that thrives on autonomy and a “get it done” attitude. At Plein Air, we measure impact, ideas delivered, and value created. We solve the tangible and intangible problems that stifle growth, always thinking in the context of the full customer experience. To succeed here, you will be opinionated, good-natured, and proactive.

At Plein Air, this isn’t just a job. It’s a philosophy: get out, see the world, and create something that truly counts.

About the Role

Let’s build. We’re looking for a Full-Cycle Account Executive to generate and expand opportunities actively- fueling the top of the funnel and unlocking new paths for growth. This role is about identifying whitespace, creating demand, and bringing new ideas to life in partnership with new and existing clients. You’ll play a critical role in driving early-stage conversations, positioning strategic value, and building momentum that converts into long-term partnerships.

This role is designed for sales professionals who are energized by creating opportunity, not just closing it. You’ll proactively source and develop pipeline and influence the broader Revenue organization. Through strategic thinking and relationship-building, you’ll help transform businesses- while accelerating your own growth in a fast-moving, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively generate top-of-funnel opportunities within an existing client base
• Identify whitespace and develop strategic hypotheses for growth across accounts
• Lead early-stage discovery and shape client thinking around new opportunities
• Build and maintain a healthy, forward-looking pipeline through consistent outreach and engagement
• Partner cross-functionally to bring the right solutions to market at the right time
• Guide opportunities through the sales cycle, from initial idea to closed deal
• Leverage data and insights to prioritize efforts and refine business development strategy

About You

• Working here means moving fast in a dynamic, sometimes chaotic environment. People who thrive at Plein Air are comfortable being uncomfortable and energized by change. This environment isn’t for everyone.
• Care deeply about your work and about making an impact on businesses
• Pursue continuous professional and personal growth
• Keep up with an unrelenting pace
• Stay resilient and resourceful
• Bring clear opinions
• Embrace disagreement and diversity of thought to move work forward
