Account Executive - NS Alliances

About Us

Appficiency is a global technology and professional services firm that solves complex business challenges through the intelligent application of enterprise software, automation, and AI. We're a proud Oracle NetSuite Alliance Partner; Salesforce Crest Partner; Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, and much more: our evolution has taken us well beyond a single platform, making us a multi-technology advisory and implementation partner across ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and AI-driven solutions. What sets us apart is a "technical-first" approach, teams who understand both business logic and deep system architecture paired with a genuine belief that our people are our greatest strength, and that's who we invest in first.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a dynamic NetSuite Account Executive who thrives in enterprise software sales. As a seasoned sales professional, you bring a proven track record navigating complex B2B sales cycles and a strong understanding of the NetSuite ecosystem. You'll manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation through close — building lasting client relationships and delivering tailored, consultative solutions. In our fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment, you'll play a pivotal role in driving ambitious growth plans while shaping the future of our clients' businesses. We invest heavily in our people's growth, offering opportunities to learn, innovate, lead, and even contribute to our global expansion.

What You'll Do

• Manage all aspects of qualification to close for "New" category sales sourced through the partner channel

• Build and nurture strong relationships with NetSuite Alliance/partner contacts to drive consistent deal flow

• Complete all necessary sales documentation with support from Sales Operations, including pricing calculators, decks, SOWs, MSAs, and legal exception approvals

• Satisfy all company certification requirements

• Manage the complete sales cycle - from partner-sourced lead through discovery, scoping, and deal closure

• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and deliver client proposals using the latest format

• Develop and execute effective partner-led sales strategies to meet and exceed targets

• Prepare and deliver tailored slide decks at every stage of the sales process, aligned with client and partner needs

• Provide accurate, insightful forecasting by partner and industry, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed

• Apply a consultative selling approach to address client needs and propose tailored solutions

• Conduct product demonstrations and articulate the value of NetSuite in solving business challenges

• Partner with Solutions Architects to provide tailored demonstrations and assessments of a customer's tech stack, including software outside our primary platform

• Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and partner alliance teams to ensure accurate solution designs and proposals

• Work closely with delivery teams during the first month of project engagement to ensure smooth transitions

• Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline status by partner

• Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activity, and the broader NetSuite partner ecosystem

• Attend partner meetings, client presentations, and industry events, requiring up to 30-40% travel

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus

• 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales, with direct experience in NetSuite Alliances or partner/channel sales

• Relationship-driven approach with a demonstrated ability to generate and grow business through partner channels

• Formal sales methodology training (MEDDIC, Challenger, or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and their application to business processes

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, including partner-facing teams

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Proficiency analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions

• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly

• Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets

• Proficiency using CRM software and sales analytics tools

What Will Set You Apart

• Deep familiarity with the NetSuite ecosystem and partner community

• Existing relationships within NetSuite Alliance/partner networks

• International experience, given our global footprint

• Prior experience working with third-party platforms and marketplaces

• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, exercising personal drive and judgment daily

What Success Looks Like

• You consistently meet or exceed sales targets through your partner channel relationships

• Your pipeline forecasting is accurate and reliable, giving leadership clear visibility into expected outcomes

• Partners and clients view you as a trusted, consultative resource rather than a transactional salesperson

• Deals you close transition smoothly into delivery, with minimal handoff friction

• You're recognized internally for strengthening and expanding our NetSuite Alliance network
