Account Executive

About the Role

Hotels and tourism businesses across Finland have room to grow, and you'll help them find it. As Account Executive, you'll build VISIT's new business in the Finnish market, guiding decision-makers from the first conversation to a signed deal. You'll report to the Commercial Director and work side by side with our Solution Experts and the wider commercial team, as a key early hire in building VISIT's Finnish organisation.

What You Will Do

• Build and own a healthy pipeline of new business with hotels and tourism businesses in Finland

• Drive sales processes from first contact through needs analysis, presentation and negotiation to close.

• Lead consultative conversations with decision-makers, understanding their business before shaping the right solution.

• Collaborate with Solution Experts, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product to create solutions that bring real value to our customers.

• Represent VISIT at industry events, trade fairs and workshops, and develop strategic partnerships in the Finnish market.

• Share market insights that help shape our commercial strategy and offering.

Keep your sales work well documented and stay close to developments in the hotel and tourism industry

Who You Are

• You win new business. You have at least 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience where you have found, built and closed your own deals. This is not a junior role

• You might come to us from hospitality or travel technology sales such as PMS, booking engines, channel management or payments; B2B SaaS or tech sales with a proven record of hitting new-business targets; or hotel or tourism sales, ready to bring that customer understanding to the vendor side

• You have owned the full sales cycle: creating opportunities, prioritizing your pipeline and driving deals to close

• You're curious about how hotels and tourism businesses make money: occupancy, rates, direct bookings and distribution. Industry experience gives you a head start, and if you don't have it yet, we'll help you build it quickly

• You build trust, ask good questions and understand a customer's business before presenting a solution

• You're proactive, entrepreneurial and comfortable building something over time. You're driven by winning new business, value long-term customer relationships and are easy to collaborate with

• A background in hotel operations, revenue management or distribution, hands-on experience with hospitality technology, an established network in the Finnish hotel and tourism industry, or Swedish is a plus

• Fluency in English and Finnish is required for this role
