Email Account Manager
About Zabota
Zabota is a top-ranked global recruitment firm, recognized as a Top HR Staffing Company by Clutch in 2025. We specialize in helping high-growth U.S. brands build elite, remote-first teams. Our mission is clear: Connect world-class talent from LATAM, Europe, and beyond with the most ambitious companies in the world.
About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing email & SMS marketing agency helping DTC brands scale profitably. They've already generated over $5M for their partners and are on track to double that this year.
They're lean, fast-moving, and obsessed with delivering top-tier results for the brands they work with. They're looking for someone with an A-level mentality who brings it every day, stays on top of everything, and isn't afraid to put in the work to deliver great results.
About the Role
We're looking for an A-level Email Account Manager to own client relationships, lead email strategy, and keep campaigns moving smoothly from planning through execution.
This role is highly execution-focused. The most important part of the job is making sure emails go out on schedule, every time. You'll need to be extremely organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of both client and team communication.
You should never be waiting for someone to tell you what needs to happen next. You'll be expected to stay ahead of deadlines, identify potential issues before they become problems, and proactively communicate with clients and your team to keep everything on track.
Responsibilities
- Own the relationship with 6–8 eCommerce clients, mostly 7–8 figure brands
- Lead strategy, planning, and execution for email campaigns and flows inside Klaviyo
- Manage a pod of 3 teammates including designers, copywriters, and technical team members
- Keep the entire campaign process organized and ensure emails are delivered on schedule with no missed or late sends
- Own timelines and deadlines from planning through final execution
- Stay ahead of upcoming campaigns and proactively identify anything that could cause delays
- Take the lead on client communication, keeping clients informed and moving conversations forward rather than simply reacting to requests
- Take the lead on team communication, making sure teammates know what needs to happen, when it needs to happen, and what is required from them
- Jump on Zoom calls with clients to review strategy and performance
- Monitor account health, analyze results, and continuously optimize for better performance
- Make sure every account is running smoothly, on schedule, and above expectations
