Account Manager - NYC

About us -

Founded in 1983, Goodby Silverstein & Partners is a full-service advertising agency whose mission is to create experiences that reach millions of people but seem to speak only to you. We call this effect mass intimacy. The smarter, braver work that results from this approach brings people closer to our clients’ businesses, gets them to care, and urges them into action. Because great work is only great if it reaps results.

We’re cultivating a place where people do their very best work—work that moves people and reshapes culture. To that end, our staff and our work need to reflect the world around us. It’s why we look for interesting talent in unexpected places; why we honor diversity we can see, and diversity we can’t see; and why we search out perspectives and experiences that might be missing here. Diversity at GS&P means that inclusivity and equity must be present here every day, in everything we do. We’re making big strides toward these goals and are constantly excited by the difference it makes.

ACCOUNT MANAGER - New York

We have a senior Account Manager opening in our New York City office. This is a hybrid role. The person we hire must be able to come into our office three days a week—Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of five years of advertising-agency experience and will be at the Account Supervisor level—or equivalent—at their current agency.

• A strong track record managing large, fast-paced accounts and complex stakeholder environments.

• Proven experience managing high-volume productions, including integrated campaigns spanning TV, radio, OOH, digital, social, activations — and comfortable juggling multiple work-streams simultaneously.

• Experience working as a strategic partner, not just a project manager— demonstrating curiosity about the client’s business, proactively connecting campaign work to broader business goals, and contributing thoughtful POVs.

• A people leadership mindset, with experience mentoring junior team members and helping create a collaborative, solutions-oriented, morale-building team culture.

This is a chance to join an award-winning team and work with some of the best creative minds in the country.
