Account Manager — Podcast Networks & Marketplace Growth

Company: Swap.fm
Location: New York City / Hybrid or Remote
Employment: Full-time

• About Swap.fm

Swap.fm helps podcast publishers grow and monetize their audiences through automated cross-promotion, audience analytics, and our Paid Boost Marketplace. We work with leading networks and publishers including CNN, Bloomberg, NPR, Sony, The New York Times, and NBCUniversal.

We’re looking for an Account Manager to own key partner relationships and help grow our marketplace for paid podcast promotion.

• The Role

You’ll manage a portfolio of podcast network partners, guiding them from onboarding through ongoing campaigns, renewals, and expansion. You’ll work with marketing, audience development, Ad Ops, and executive teams to drive results—and help publishers buy and sell promotional inventory through Paid Boost.

This role combines account management, campaign execution, and revenue growth, with direct access to our founders and product team.

• What You’ll Do

Build strong partner relationships and lead onboarding, adoption, and regular account check-ins.

Help partners launch and optimize growth campaigns, interpret performance, and resolve issues with our product and engineering teams.

Coordinate campaign setup, tracking, integrations, and creative approvals with publisher Ad Ops teams.

Drive renewals and account expansion by demonstrating value and identifying new opportunities.

Grow Paid Boost revenue by matching buyers with relevant inventory, developing proposals, closing campaigns, and turning successful tests into recurring spend.

Bring partner feedback to our founders and product team to improve the platform.

• What We’re Looking For

Approximately 2–5 years of experience in account management, customer success, partnerships, media sales, digital advertising, or a related field.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns.

A commercial mindset and comfort identifying and closing revenue opportunities within existing relationships.

Confidence using campaign data to make recommendations and attention to operational details.

A proactive approach and enthusiasm for working at an early-stage startup.

Podcast industry experience—particularly with networks, publishers, hosting platforms, agencies, or advertising companies—is a major plus.

• What We Offer

Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.

Flexible hours and remote work options.

Health, dental, and vision benefits.

Generous PTO, holidays, and professional development opportunities.

• Why Swap.fm

Work directly with our founders, own relationships with leading podcast publishers, and help build a growing marketplace. Your impact will show up in stronger partner relationships, successful campaigns, and recurring marketplace revenue.
