Account Manager

Revelane is a partner in commercial excellence. We work side by side with ambitious mid-market companies and their investors. Together, we turn commercial potential into revenue growth and lasting value creation.

We do this in two ways. Our consultants work on go-to-market, pricing, sales and marketing. Our platform, RevelaneOS, brings this methodology, way of working and a company’s commercial data together in one place.

As Account Manager, you bring both to market. You win new clients, and you grow the clients we already have. Part of your work is direct, with CEOs, CFOs and commercial directors. Part of it runs through private equity investors, who bring us into their portfolio companies. You work closely with our Head of Partnerships and our domain leads. You own the relationship from the first conversation to the renewal.

This role sits close to company strategy. You hear what boards and investors worry about, and you help shape what we build next.

Build relationships with investors (indirect)

• Build trusted relationships with PE operating partners and deal teams.
• Spot the moments when a portfolio company needs us: a new owner, a 100-day plan, a buy-and-build or an exit.
• Run portfolio sessions and events with investors.

Win new clients (direct)

• Build your own pipeline of mid-market companies and qualify them
• Lead first conversations with the C-level. Understand their growth and margin targets and link them to what we offer.
• Run the full sales cycle, from first meeting to signed proposal.

Sell through insight

• Run discovery workshops with leadership teams to map their commercial challenges.
• Turn what you hear into a clear value case in EBITDA terms, together with our domain leads.

Grow the accounts you win

• Stay the main commercial contact for your clients after the first deal.
• Join steering meetings and quarterly reviews, track the value we deliver and keep the sponsor close.
• Find the next step: a new domain, another company in the group or a move from project to platform.
• Own renewals and expansion, together with the delivery team.

• 3-6 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally selling advisory services, software or both.
• Comfortable in the room with CEOs, CFOs, commercial directors and investors.
• Commercially sharp. You link what a client wants to achieve to what we offer.
• Self-starting, with a track record of building your own pipeline.
• Experience in full-cycle B2B sales, and in growing accounts after the first deal.
• A patient relationship builder who earns trust with clients and with partners such as investors.
• Familiarity with private equity, such as portfolio companies, operating partners or value creation plans, is a plus.
• Native or fluent in Dutch; excellent command of English.
• Based in (or close to) Amsterdam.

• Work with ambition. Partner with European growth companies, mostly mid-market, nearly all B2B, each driven to accelerate performance and realise their potential.
• Grow through challenge. Every conversation brings a new industry, a new buyer and a new objection to work through. A constant opportunity to deepen expertise and expand perspective.
• Thrive with autonomy. Freedom to make decisions and trust to shape your own approach, supported by a team that values ownership, rigour and initiative.
• Be part of a high-energy team. Surrounded by sharp, curious and collaborative peers who share a genuine drive to help clients succeed.
• A professional environment that's also enjoyable. A great office in the centre of Amsterdam, lunch provided, regular team drinks and outings, a company ski trip for those who enjoy it, plus 25 days of holiday with a few extra days off between Christmas and New Year.
