Accounting Manager

If so,CIC Japan is seeking an Accounting Manager to strengthen its accounting function in a growing and dynamic environment. This role will oversee accounting operations across multiple Japan entities, manage a small team, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting and processes.The position will also support the development of scalable finance operations as the business expands across Asia.This position reports directly to the Finance Director Japan.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
You will engage in the preparation of reliable and adequate financial and operational reports. You will be encouraged to give solicited and unsolicited advice on accounting operations and be expected to be determined to make the accounting control of the month-end closing a success.
You will be involved in projects from an accounting point of view and assist with issues and preparing the annual accounts. You are the person in charge of accounting operations and work closely with the Finance Director of Japan to support internal and external needs.
In addition to the above you will:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, accruals)
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Manage and develop a team of two accounting staff
