Join our snack-loving team

We’re looking for Advanced Team Members to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.

Who are we?

We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.

About the role

As an Advanced Team Member, you will play an important role in keeping your line running safely, smoothly and efficiently. You will become a subject matter expert on a specific piece of equipment, helping us maintain high standards in safety, quality and performance.

You will use problem‑solving tools, daily management systems and the IWS ways of working to eliminate losses, reduce waste and support continuous improvement. You’ll also coach and train colleagues so everyone feels confident using and caring for the equipment.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys responsibility, takes pride in their work and wants to grow their skills in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.

What’s in it for you?

We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:

• Starting salary of £38,082.72 during the initial training period on a three-shift rotation, increasing to £40,833.37 upon successful transition to the two's and three's continental shift pattern

• KP Pension Plan with up to 7% matched contributions

• 26 days holiday, with the option to buy up to five additional days for more flexibility

• Comprehensive healthcare support including Health Cash Plan, Digital GP and Employee Assistance Programme

• KP4ME benefits platform with discounts, cashback, wellbeing tools and everyday savings

• Enhanced family-friendly policies to support colleagues at every stage of life

What will you be doing?

• Owning and improving equipment performance

Acting as a subject matter expert, ensuring your equipment is maintained, safe and running at optimal performance

• Supporting safe, high‑quality production

Carrying out testing procedures, checking work against quality standards and maintaining excellent hygiene and housekeeping

• Using problem‑solving tools to eliminate losses

Working with IWS principles, daily management systems and structured tools to resolve issues, identify improvements and reduce waste

• Training and coaching colleagues

Helping others learn to run, maintain and understand your piece of equipment confidently and safely

• Working collaboratively within the team

Communicating clearly, using the Shift Board and supporting the wider team to achieve daily line targets

We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:

• Experience in manufacturing or food production

This is highly desirable, though we will support your development through training

• A good standard of literacy and numeracy

Able to understand instructions, record information and follow established processes

• Ownership and accountability

A proactive approach to solving problems and improving performance

• Mechanical understanding and troubleshooting skills

Understanding of mechanical components, with the ability to identify issues and support effective problem-solving

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable taking initiative while contributing to a supportive team environment
