Agency Director

WE ARE HIRING AN AGENCY DIRECTOR

Ever opened a new bank account and got a weekend away? Spent on fashion and received a personal styling session? Picked up groceries and walked away with cinema tickets?

If so, you’ve probably experienced a TLC Worldwide campaign - without even knowing it.

At TLC, we help the world’s biggest brands drive customer acquisition, loyalty and engagement with emotionally engaging, experience-led rewards. From global banks to high street retailers, our programs are designed shift behaviour, boost ROI and build genuine brand love – at the fraction of the cost of discounting and cash offers. Backed by COSMOS, our all-in-one program platform, we deliver personalised campaigns at scale with live data, smart insights, and seamless customer journeys.

We’ve spent 30 years mastering what moves customers; combining deep consumer insight, a global network of 100,000+ rewards, and a unique ability to drive measurable ROI for brands.

We’re 400+ people strong, across 15 global hubs. A collective of marketers, creatives and strategists who care about doing great work - and having fun while we do it. We celebrate bold thinking, empower growth, and champion the kind of culture that helps people thrive.

Here are a few things that we've got to offer:

• Dynamic & collaborative team in a creative environment with exposure to global clients & colleagues - Check out our clients

• Weekly webinars to support your development through our People Academy

• Annual TLC Wellness Week and programmes throughout the year

• TLC Culture Club - including seasonal social events, tasty lunches & more

• TLC Gives Back - volunteering opportunities, including off site visits and volunteering leave

• TLC Rise - supporting and empowering women into leadership roles

• 'Frankies' - Our very own awards ceremony where we walk down the TLC red carpet in our best outfits

• TLC Owner's Club - Everyone that is part of the TLC experience contributes to our success, which is why we all own a piece of TLC as part of our share holder scheme

This is not a traditional agency leadership role.

It's a role for someone who understands the art and science of winning business. Someone who can identify the real opportunity behind a client brief, shape compelling strategic solutions, inspire a team to produce world-class work and, most importantly, close the deal.

As Agency Director, you will be responsible for helping TLC convert strategic opportunities into high-value client partnerships.

You'll collaborate with Business Development, Strategy, Creative, Marketing and Operations to ensure we're selling complete solutions, not standalone rewards.

That means helping clients solve commercial challenges through a combination of:

• Customer insight

• Strategic thinking

• Creative campaigns

• Reward experiences

• Digital journeys

• Data and evaluation

• Measurable ROI

You'll bring agency discipline, creativity and commercial expertise to every stage of the process, from initial opportunity through to pitch, proposal and programme delivery.

You'll challenge thinking, raise standards and help us create a culture where every proposal is insight-led, strategically sound and impossible to ignore.

What you'll be doing:

Driving Excellence

• Shape and elevate the quality of TLC's strategic and creative output.

• Establish best-practice agency processes from briefing through to pitch and delivery.

• Ensure all client solutions are insight-led, commercially compelling and measurable.

• Champion world-class proposal development and presentation standards.

• Help teams identify the real client challenge behind every brief.

Winning New Business

• Partner closely with the Business Development team to convert opportunities into revenue.

• Support and lead client pitches, presentations and strategic workshops.

• Help transform reward opportunities into fully integrated campaign solutions.

• Improve win rates through stronger storytelling, strategy and commercial positioning.

• Bring confidence, gravitas and authority to high-value client conversations.

Building Client Partnerships

• Develop trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

• Act as a strategic advisor rather than a supplier.

• Challenge client thinking where appropriate and add value through expertise.

• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.

• Drive repeat business and increased client investment.

Leading Teams & Raising Standards

• Coach, mentor and develop teams across Strategy, Creative and Business Development.

• Raise the bar for thinking, presentation skills and commercial effectiveness.

• Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Create greater alignment between Sales, Operations and Client Services teams.

• Inspire teams to consistently produce award-worthy work.

Embedding Insight & Measurement

• Establish a culture of research-led consumer and customer insight.

• Ensure campaigns are built upon clear behavioural objectives.

• Help clients define meaningful success measures.

• Champion evaluation, learning and ROI measurement.

• Work closely with TLC's data and COSMOS teams to unlock greater value from insight and analytics.

Who we're looking for:

• Senior leadership experience within a respected marketing, advertising, CRM, loyalty, promotional or integrated agency.

• Previous experience as an Account Director, Client Services Director, Agency Director or equivalent.

• Proven track record of selling integrated campaigns rather than standalone products or services.

• Extensive pitch leadership experience with a strong win record.

• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

• Strong strategic and commercial capability.

• Ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.

You'll Stand Out If You...

• Are known as someone who wins business.

• Can confidently challenge client briefs and improve them.

• Understand customer behaviour and what drives action.

• Have a portfolio of strong client relationships and industry contacts.

• Know the difference between presenting and selling.

• Have built campaigns that delivered measurable commercial results.

• Bring creativity, commerciality and credibility in equal measure.

Being a people-led business, we hire upon values and believe that our people are what make the beloved TLC culture so unique.

At TLC we aim to create a ‘world within the world’ that is free from prejudice, bias and inequity.

A world where diversity is valued and celebrated, and where we work hard to ensure all our wonderful people are given equal opportunity to succeed.

If you're excited by everything we've told you, then it's time to apply!
