AI EngineerResponsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable backend solutions, following software engineering and architecture best practices.
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust and maintainable software solutions.
- Develop backend services and applications using modern software engineering practices.
- Design and implement solutions in Cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation across the software development lifecycle.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases, data models and data-driven applications.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Architects, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Use modern development tools, including AI-powered coding agents, to improve productivity, code quality and development workflows.
- Contribute to technical design, architecture decisions and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into software solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the reliability, maintainability and performance of applications.
- Document technical solutions, architectures and development processes.
- Work in an Agile environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical areas.
- 3–4 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Backend Development or a related field.
- Strong hands-on Backend Software Engineering experience.
- Good understanding of Software Architecture and Design principles.
- Experience with Cloud technologies and environments.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of databases and data modelling.
- Good knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards and version control.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira and Confluence.
