The Job:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and system services
- Develop and support RESTful APIs using C# / .NET Core, Python and Node.js
- Manage and process IoT data using MQTT protocols, including publish/subscribe mechanisms, topic design, message ingestion, parsing, and downstream processing
- Design and optimise schemas, stored procedures and queries in MS SQL Server and MySQL
- Develop and support solutions utilizing NoSQL databases
- Integrate internal systems with third-party applications and APIs, and support data exchange processes and batch jobs
- Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation
- Collaborate closely with end users, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver practical and effective technical solutions
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in software development, backend application development, API development, or systems programming
- Familiarity with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry is highly preferred
