Android Developer

Are you the kind of Android developer who cares as much about how an app feels as how it's built? Framna is looking for an Android Developer to join our Stockholm studio. You'll build and maintain native Android apps as part of a cross-functional product team that shares that same drive and passion for building products people actually love to use.

Become part of the team

Framna partners with some of the world's most ambitious brands, like Swish, SJ, Essity, and SEB, to create digital products that define markets and deliver real-world impact. We are more than 600 people across ten studios, building apps and digital products used by millions every day.

As our next Android Developer, you'll join our team in Stockholm, working alongside designers, developers, QA engineers, analysts, and product leads to take ideas from first concept to real-world product.

You'll also become part of Framna's wider Engineering team, where developers meet regularly to exchange knowledge and grow together.

What you will do

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining hands-on building with genuine care for quality. You'll work closely with your team to build, ship, and maintain Android features that are ready for real users.

More specifically, you will:

• Build and maintain Android apps and features in production, using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Take ownership of product quality and performance

• Collaborate closely with designers and your product team to turn technical and business needs into solutions

• Work across team boundaries, in some engagements our backend sits with another party, which calls for close daily communication

• Take initiative and make sound decisions independently, while knowing when to bring in the right person

Who you are

Are you ready to make this role your own? You might recognise yourself if you:

• Have around 3–4 years of professional experience building native Android apps in Kotlin and Compose

• Have shipped at least one app to the Play Store and are comfortable releasing and maintaining an app in production

• Communicate well and are comfortable translating technical and business needs into working solutions together with a product team

• Are self-driven, take ownership of your work, and know when to ask for input

• Are curious about AI-assisted and agentic development, and enjoy using AI tools actively and thoughtfully in your everyday work

About FramnaFramna means ‘to bring forward’ in Old Norse. And that is exactly what we do. We partner with industry leaders (and those about to be) to create excellent digital products that define markets, reshape industries, and deliver meaningful impact.Born from the union of digital agencies Bontouch, Move, and Shape, Framna emerged from a strong, product-led culture. Today, over 600 of us collaborate across 11 studios in Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the US.Every day, millions of users around the world rely on the products we help shape. From seamless payments to daily commutes, from better health management to smarter shopping. Our work supports more than €150 million in daily transactions and consistently earns an average App Store rating of 4.5.Together with some of the world’s most ambitious brands, including Essity, SJ, Swish, SEB, and Vattenfall, we craft products that lead markets and push boundaries. Because when products win, businesses win. We call it Win by product.

What you get

• A role with real impact. You will play a key role in shaping Framna’s growth by developing our most important partnerships and expanding how we work together.

• A culture of curiosity. A culture of curiosity. We have weekly Friday demos, and different communities across the company where people meet up, share knowledge, and dig into topics they're interested in together. We gather for company conferences to share ideas, and we make room for learning when there's something new we want to explore.

• The freedom to follow your “what if.” We believe the best roles are shaped by the people in them. If you are curious about something, you will have the trust and space to chase it, and probably a few teammates who want to jump in with you.

• Teammates who bring their whole selves. Designers who doodle during standups, engineers who can’t resist showing off a clever hack, product leads who keep the energy up when things get tricky. Around here, people genuinely like sharing what they know and celebrating when someone tries something new.

• And of course, the benefits you’d expect. A generous wellness grant, top-up on your parental leave, occupational pension, and plenty more to make life outside of work easier.
