Pay Rate: $21.50 - $26.32
Location: Crenshaw, California
Available Job Schedules:
- Saturday - Tuesday: Swing Shift (14:00 - 22:00)
FLSA Status: Full-Time / Part-Time Non-Exempt
Job Overview
Absolute International Security is seeking highly professional security guards responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a customer-service focused demeanor, a neat and tidy appearance, along with the ability to perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal & transient activity
- Perform thorough routine armed foot patrols of the assigned area including train platforms, train cabin interiors, and parking lots
- Board and ride train lines to transition between train platforms
- Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
- Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs
- Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation
- Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
- Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times
- Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards
