ABOUT THE ROLE

As Manager, Art Direction on the Integrated Campaigns Creative team, you will lead day-to-day design and art direction for Salesforce's Missionforce marketing initiatives, managing a team of two Senior Designers while remaining actively involved in hands-on creative development and execution.

Working closely with the Missionforce Creative Lead, Creative Project Manager, and cross-functional partners, you will provide creative direction, oversee design execution, and ensure work is strategically aligned, visually compelling, on brand, and delivered on time.

You'll balance people leadership with hands-on art direction, design, and creative problem-solving, helping the team move efficiently from concept through final production while maintaining a high standard of craft and consistency.

What You Will Do:

• Manage, mentor, and develop two Senior Designers, providing day-to-day creative direction, coaching, and actionable feedback.
• Partner with the Missionforce Creative Lead to guide art direction and design execution across integrated campaigns, demand generation, digital, social, content, and events.

• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and marketing partners to bring integrated creative ideas to life.
• Partner with creative operations and project managers to prioritize work, balance team capacity, and meet project deadlines.
• Present creative concepts and recommendations to creative leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Leverage generative AI, emerging design tools, and efficient workflows to improve creative quality, speed, and scalability.

What Experience You Have:

• BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in art direction, visual design, or creative development within an agency or in-house creative team.
• Experience managing or mentoring designers, providing creative direction, coaching, and constructive feedback.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, art direction, and hands-on design across integrated campaigns and digital channels.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, with strong knowledge of digital and print production. Canva experience is a plus.
• Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, composition, layout, and brand consistency.
• Ability to balance hands-on creative work, team leadership, and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal English proficiency required to collaborate with U.S.-based Creative leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Familiarity with generative AI and emerging creative technologies; B2B or enterprise technology experience is a plus.

Why You Are Excited About This Role:
