· Provide hands-on leadership in the field, including coaching, problem-solving, and responding to emergency service calls as needed

· Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality, and operational efficiency while identifying risks and implementing solutions

· Build and maintain strong relationships with railroad customers, field partners, and regulatory agencies through proactive communication and coordination

· Train, mentor, and develop team members, while supporting hiring, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching

· Support business operations by assisting with workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting

· Ensure accurate and timely reporting of payroll, labor hours, equipment usage, and project documentation

· Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance or replacements to ensure operational readiness

· Contribute to business growth through customer engagement, relationship-building, and participation in industry events

Skills/Qualifications

· Strong knowledge of DOT and FRA regulations

· CDL Class A or B preferred

· Proven leadership experience managing teams in field environments

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn operational software systems

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Ability to pass required safety and certification programs

Physical Requirements

· Frequent overnight travel required

· On-call availability (must be able to report within 1 hour)
