We're looking for an Assistant Meetings & Events Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team and play a pivotal role in bringing events to life. JOB ROLE:

As Assistant Meetings & Events Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operation, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of events.

• Lead and inspire the Meetings & Events team during service

• Ensure all events are delivered to the highest operational standards

• Coordinate room setups, banquet requirements, and event logistics

• Work closely with the kitchen and operational teams to ensure flawless execution

• Manage staffing levels to meet business demands while maximising efficiency

• Monitor stock, equipment and event inventories

• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues quickly

• Drive exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction

• Support training, coaching and development of team members

• Maintain health, safety and compliance standards across all event spaces

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We're searching for an energetic and hands-on leader who enjoys working with people and creating amazing guest experiences.

Essential:

• Previous experience within Meetings & Events, Banqueting, Hospitality or Food & Beverage operations

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

• Passion for delivering outstanding service

• Experience handling guest enquiries and resolving challenges professionally

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required

You'll Really Stand Out If You Have:

• Experience supervising large-scale events

• Knowledge of banquet operations, room setups and event service standards

• Experience training and developing team members

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of operational budgets

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
