Your work profile
- We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Expert & Cloud Developer to design, implement, optimize, and manage enterprise-grade database solutions both on‑premises and in the cloud. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle Database technologies, strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL development, and proven experience in cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Azure, or AWS.
- This role requires strong analytical abilities, performance tuning expertise, and the ability to architect scalable, secure database and cloud solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Oracle Database Engineering
- Design, deploy, and maintain Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, or later).
- Perform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Implement backup & recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
- Manage database security, user access, auditing, and data masking.
- Conduct database upgrades, migrations, and patching with minimal downtime.
- Optimize database storage, indexing, partitioning, and memory management.
- Cloud Architecture & Development
- Design and build cloud-native solutions on OCI, Azure, or AWS.
- Migrate on-prem Oracle databases to cloud platforms.
- Implement automated provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Work with cloud services including:
- OCI Autonomous DB, Exadata Cloud Service
- Azure/AWS RDS for Oracle
- Cloud networking, security, WAF, IAM
- DevOps & Automation
- Automate database tasks using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- Set up monitoring and alerting using OEM, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or OCI Monitoring.
