KULFI COLLECTIVE

Associate - Social Media Analytics

Role **Associate - Social Media Analytics
Reporting to Lead, Social Media - Analytics & Strategy
Type Full-Time
Location Worli, Mumbai (Hybrid)THE KIND OF WORK YOU'LL SHAPE
**Most reports tell you what happened last week. We need someone who can tell us why, and what to do about it next.
This role sits at the centre of Intelligence, turning numbers from every platform and every brand into observations sharp enough to shape a client conversation, a creative brief, or the next campaign bet.

**THE ROLE
**You're not here to pull numbers into a deck and call it a day. You're here to read them, question them, and explain what they actually mean.
You'll dig into performance across brands and categories, connect it to what's happening in culture and on platforms, and turn all of it into insight that strategy, creative and clients can actually use.

**WHAT YOU'LL DRIVE
**- Turn raw data into a story. Spot the patterns and anomalies that matter, then explain why something performed the way it did, not just report that it did

• Dig into open questions on your own, pull the right data and context, and come back with an answer people can actually use
• Keep the numbers honest. QA reports, catch inconsistencies, and make sure nothing shaky reaches a client or strategy deck
• Track what's shifting on Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and beyond, and translate platform and algorithm changes into what they mean for content
• Read performance against what's actually happening in culture, news cycles, trends and creator behaviour, not just against last month's numbers
• Bring AI and LLM tools into research, analysis, reporting and the parts of the job nobody wants to do by hand

**WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT
**- Your analysis feeds straight into strategy and client conversations, not a monthly deck that sits in someone's inbox

• You'll work across brands and categories, not one account on repeat
• You're expected to have a point of view on the data, not just present it
• You'll help shape how the team uses AI tools, not just adopt what's handed down

**WHO YOU ARE
**- You can look at a spreadsheet and see a story, not just numbers

• You're curious enough to go find the answer yourself instead of waiting to be told
• You're comfortable in large, messy datasets, and somehow still spot the one number that's wrong
• You know why something moved on Instagram before anyone has to ask
• You're plugged into culture and online communities, and can connect a spike in the data to what's actually happening in the world
• You've used LLMs enough to know where they genuinely help, and where they don't

BEFORE YOU APPLY

This role is built for someone who wants to explain the data, not just deliver it. If you're looking for a purely reporting or dashboard-maintenance role, this probably isn't the right fit.
It's a great fit if:

• You'd rather find the one insight that matters than list twenty metrics
• You already have opinions about what's changing on social platforms right now
• You're comfortable saying 'I don't know yet, let me find out,' and then actually finding out

**HOW TO APPLY
**Send us a data point or trend from the last few months that surprised you, and tell us why. Bonus points if you can tell us what a brand should have done about it.
