Automation Tester (Mid to Senior Level)

Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱120,000 per month

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright and Appium to support web, mobile, API, and end-to-end testing.

• Ensure compliance with established testing standards, quality frameworks, SDLC processes, and automation engineering best practices.

• Participate in requirements reviews, solution design discussions, and test planning activities to identify automation opportunities and maximize test coverage.

• Develop, manage, and maintain automation test data, reusable components, object repositories, and test assets.

• Execute automated test suites for functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing; analyze results and investigate test failures.

• Leverage BrowserStack to perform cross-browser, cross-device, and mobile application testing across multiple operating systems, browsers, and device configurations.

• Utilize GitHub Enterprise for source control, code reviews, branch management, versioning, and collaboration across automation initiatives.

• Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve automation productivity, code quality, script maintainability, and development efficiency.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices to enable faster, more reliable software releases.

• Monitor, track, and communicate automation development progress, test execution results, coverage metrics, quality trends, and defects to project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in automation testing.

• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing.

• Hands-on experience with Appium for iOS and Android mobile automation testing.

• Knowledge of BrowserStack for cross-browser, cross-device, and mobile testing.

• Experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve automation efficiency.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.

• Experience in functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test automation.

• Proficiency in automation scripting using TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python.

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, and Azure DevOps.
