About the Role
You'll be responsible for developing, executing and maintaining automated tests across UI and API platforms, helping deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.
We're recruiting across two levels:
- Senior Automation Tester: Lead automation framework development, drive automation quality and provide technical guidance across complex testing activities.
- Automation Tester: Develop, execute, debug and maintain automated tests, contributing to the overall automation strategy.
Location: Open to candidates based anywhere in Australia, with a preference for Sydney-based applicants. Hybrid working arrangements apply, requiring two days onsite per week, depending on location.What You'll Do
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Perform UI and API test automation, including functional, integration and regression testing.
- Develop, enhance and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test components.
- Integrate automated tests into Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate and troubleshoot automation failures, application defects and testing issues.
- Utilise AI-assisted coding tools to support automation development and improve efficiency.
- Review, validate and debug AI-generated automation scripts to ensure quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, testers and technical teams to improve testing practices and delivery outcomes.
- For senior-level opportunities, provide technical guidance, code reviews and support automation framework development.
