AV Field Project Manager

Company Overview

Amplify People is partnering with a well-established custom integration company in South Florida that designs and installs high-performance smart home systems. This team is known for doing things the right way—clean execution, strong client communication, and a “we’re in this together” mindset.

Why Join Us?

If you’ve ever felt like you were capable of more—but stuck in a role where you’re just checking boxes, chasing parts, or getting second-guessed at every turn—this is the opposite of that.

In this role, you’ll step into a trusted, high-impact position where your experience actually matters. You’ll have the autonomy to run the site, make smart calls, and keep projects moving—without three layers of managers slowing everything down. Leadership here is “lead by example” leadership: the kind that jumps in when needed, values craftsmanship, and respects people who take ownership.

This team is also intentional about building a place people want to stay. It’s a family-style culture (the real kind—not the cheesy kind) where relationships form naturally, collaboration is the norm, and everyone’s expected to do quality work without ego. You’ll be surrounded by people who care about doing it right—clean installs, strong standards, and a polished client experience.

A few things that make this a standout opportunity:

• Autonomy + trust: You’re empowered to make decisions and execute efficiently—no micromanagement.
• Visible impact: This hire is a priority because it helps shift the owner out of the field; what you do will immediately change the business.
• Room to grow: You’ll have space to excel, learn, and level up—without being boxed into “just a tech.”
• Pride in workmanship: Attention to detail is valued here (wire management, symmetry, SOPs, jobsite professionalism).
• People you actually like: Monthly lunches, an annual holiday party, occasional outings.
• Life-friendly culture: The company is flexible when life happens—and backs up the “we value you” message with meaningful perks like paid birthdays and anniversaries (after one year).

If you’re a confident, calm, low-ego leader who wants to own projects end-to-end—and be part of a team that works hard and enjoys working together—this is a rare seat.

Job Overview

We’re hiring a Field Project Manager who can lead residential job sites while also handling the technical “last 10%” that determines whether a project is truly finished—programming, punch lists, commissioning, quality control, and client walkthroughs.

You’ll work closely with the company’s system design / back-end PM function to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and up to spec—and that the client understands what they’re getting at turnover.
