- Test creation and execution.
- Build validation and troubleshooting.
- Deployment preparation and release activities.
- Evaluate how many existing engineering workflows can be driven or augmented by AI agents and identify opportunities to increase automation.
- Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into existing DevOps pipelines and engineering tooling.
- Develop workflows where multiple specialized agents can support different stages of the development lifecycle, such as documentation, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Partner with software engineers, platform engineers, and other technical teams to understand day-to-day development workflows and identify areas for agentic automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Azure DevOps pipelines, builds, releases, deployments, and automation workflows.
- Create reusable pipeline templates and automation patterns that can be adopted across engineering teams.
- Monitor pipeline performance, reliability, and execution and continuously improve the developer experience.
- Establish best practices for CI/CD, workflow automation, DevOps tooling, and AI-assisted engineering.
- Document pipeline architecture, automation processes, tooling, and operational procedures.
