B2B Business Developer

About the role

Our Madrid office is expanding and we are looking for our new B2B Business Developer within the Apprenticeship department. A portfolio of candidates will be assigned to you; your objective will be to find them a host company where they can complete their apprenticeship. You will handle all administrative formalities and negotiate a remaining cost for the Company, working jointly with the Admissions & Placement Manager.

Our target audiences—your future interlocutors—are companies with recruitment needs for work-study programs. This implies quickly becoming an expert in all our products and the issues frequently encountered by our partner companies, in order to develop our brand in the territories assigned to you.

You will thus be at the heart of the action, representing Walter Learning. In other words, you will take on a "closer" role for our learners, and your main missions as a B2B Business Developer will be:

What you'll do

-
To actively prospect within the defined area with our learners to find them job interviews

-
To work hand in hand with the Admission & Placement Manager to focus on the best opportunities

-
To follow up on administrative files in collaboration with the Admission & Placement Manager

-
To develop a relationship of trust with companies through quality follow-up and thus capitalize on future recruitments

-
To achieve a monthly turnover objective

The missions and responsibilities indicated below are neither exhaustive nor definitive.

What we're looking for

• Perfect mastery of written and spoken French (100% French-speaking market)
• You are passionate about sales and, ideally, you are attracted to the field of education or training
• You love negotiating and do not accept being told no
• You are organized and know how to respect a process
• You are demanding and reliable, eager to provide solutions to each of our learners

Finally, and without contradiction to the previous qualities, you are results-oriented and will strive to achieve and exceed your objectives

Ideally, you hold a Bac+2 degree and have initial experience in B2B sales; however, we do not require a specific background, and candidates from all types of training are invited to apply. If you are attracted to the missions mentioned and recognize yourself in the expected skills, do not hesitate to apply!

What you'll get

• We have a concrete internal promotion policy and a defined career path for our sales teams. Joining this project means having the opportunity to progress professionally by taking on ever greater and more varied challenges: evolution towards another sales process, management, another department, another country…
• We offer permanent contracts (CDI) of 39 hours per week and are committed to promoting the work-life balance of our employees
• Our teams are highly diverse, essentially from a professional standpoint (instructional design, audiovisual production, IT, remote sales, marketing, etc.). At the intersection between a tech company and a production house, you will be able to discover different professions at Walter Learning
• Walter Learning is present in several major urban centers, in modern and always very well-located offices
• For the vast majority of positions, it is possible to choose your workplace among the different Walter Learning offices. It is also possible to change your workplace permanently or on a temporary basis.
