Back-End Estimator - No Weekends!

Back-End Estimator | No Weekends | $28–$32/hr | Kitsap County & Gig Harbor, WA

Murray’s Collision Group is hiring a Back-End Estimator in the Kitsap County area, with shops at CARSTAR Port Orchard, Fix Auto Port Orchard, Fix Auto Manchester and Fix Auto Gig Harbor. This is the estimator who makes the repair plan right before the wrench turns. You’ll tear down and blueprint vehicles, build accurate supplements, and keep jobs moving through the shop without surprises. You’ll get a steady hourly paycheck, Monday through Friday hours, and no weekend shifts.

Murray’s Collision Group is a family-owned collision repair company that has served the Puget Sound since 1984. We’re big enough to offer real benefits, training and room to grow across multiple locations, and small enough that your name and your work matter.

Why estimators choose us

• Steady, predictable pay: We pay $28–$32 an hour based on experience, so you get a reliable hourly paycheck that doesn’t swing with a slow month or a commission split.

• Weekends off: A full-time Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so your evenings and weekends stay yours.

• Hands-on estimating: Spend your day with the vehicles and the production team, building complete repair plans instead of chasing front counter traffic.

• Room to grow: With multiple locations across the Puget Sound, there’s a real path from estimator to lead and management roles.

• Training: Ongoing CCC ONE and industry training to keep sharpening your estimating skills.

• Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) with a 2% employer match, and paid holidays and PTO.

What you’ll be doing

• Performing full teardowns and blueprinting vehicles to identify all damage before repairs begin

• Building complete, accurate repair plans and supplements in CCC ONE, including P-Pages and rate guides

• Researching and following OEM repair procedures and position statements

• Communicating with insurance adjusters to submit and support supplements

• Following insurance company guidelines and agreed labor rates

• Identifying and ordering correct parts, and working with the parts team to resolve parts issues quickly

• Working closely with technicians and the production manager to keep repairs on schedule

• Taking part in daily production meetings and tracking vehicle status

• Maintaining detailed notes, photos and documentation for every repair

What we’re looking for

• 1+ year of experience as a collision estimator, blueprinter or insurance appraiser

• Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures and how vehicles come apart and go back together

• Detail oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple repairs at once

• Comfortable with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
