Backend Developer - Node.js/Python

Backend:

• Python: FastAPI (Python 3.10+), Pydantic, Pandas for data processing, SQLAlchemy/ORM for DB interactions.

• Node.js: Express.js / NestJS, TypeScript, REST & GraphQL API development, async event-driven services.

• Databases & Messaging:

• Relational: PostgreSQL, MySQL

• NoSQL: MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis

• Messaging/Eventing: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS, MQTT

• API Standards: OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, gRPC (nice to have), WebSockets for real-time apps.

• Authentication/Authorization: OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML integration with enterprise IdPs (Okta, Azure AD).

• Testing Frameworks: PyTest (Python), Jest/Mocha (Node.js), Postman/Newman for API testing.

• Logging/Monitoring: Structured logging (Logstash/ELK or Fluentd/EFK), integration with observability stacks (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Architecture Patterns: Microservices, 12-factor apps, API Gateway design, distributed tracing (Jaeger/OpenTelemetry).

Cloud Expertise:

• Proven experience deploying workloads in AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud (OpenStack/Canonical).

• AWS:

• EC2, ECS/EKS (container orchestration)

• S3 (object storage), DynamoDB / RDS (databases)

• API Gateway + Lambda (serverless APIs)

• CloudFormation/Terraform (IaC)

• IAM (role-based access, OIDC federation)

• CloudWatch & X-Ray (monitoring, tracing)

• Azure:

• Azure App Services & AKS (Kubernetes)

• Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL

• Azure Functions (serverless compute)

• VNet, Application Gateway, Front Door (networking & ingress)

• Azure AD / Managed Identity (enterprise auth)

• Azure Monitor & Application Insights

• Cross-Cloud Skills:

• Terraform / Pulumi for multi-cloud IaC

• Docker & Kubernetes deployments across providers

• Experience with private cloud (OpenStack/Canonical) for hybrid scenarios

Security:

• JWT session management, hardware-based security (TPM/TDX), data encryption at rest & in transit.

DevOps/Deployment:
