Backend Java Developer

About the role

At T-Systems, a multinational leader in digital transformation, we are looking for a Java Backend Developer (m/f/d) to join our development team, with the possibility of working from our offices in Reus, Granada, Valencia, Seville, or A Coruña.

You will be part of the TAO department, a solid, stable, and highly specialized team responsible for a ecosystem of critical applications oriented toward public administration, with real impact on society.

• Development and maintenance of Java backend applications
• Design and implementation of new features
• Work with Git repositories and GitFlow workflows
• Participation in agile methodologies (planning, retrospectives)
• Incident resolution and continuous improvement
• Collaboration with frontend, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams

What are we looking for?

• Experience in Java backend development
• Experience or familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development
• Knowledge of Git and GitFlow
• Analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Proactivity, autonomy, and organization
• Ability to work in a team
• Experience in public administration environments is a plus
