Backend Java Engineer - Spring Boot Microservices (Hybrid Milan)

Objectway in Milan seeks a Back End Developer (Java) to join the Engineering team and contribute to the development, maintenance and evolution of its digital wealth management platform. You will work on reliable, secure and high-performing back-end services, collaborating with developers, software architects and Product Managers to deliver solutions used by financial institutions.

Develop and maintain back-end services using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
Write clean, maintainable code following team standards.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate services.
Develop new features and improve existing functionality.
Write automated tests and participate in QA activities.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and product managers to meet requirements.
Improve application performance, reliability and security.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Investigate and resolve production issues.

Minimum 2 years of back-end Java development experience.
Experience with Spring Boot and backend services.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Git and collaborative development practices.
Understanding of Docker and cloud environments (AWS).
Basic software security principles and secure coding.
