About the company
Our client is a law firm.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Represent companies and individuals in financial distress in court, stepping into a well-established practice and gradually taking over a departing senior lawyer's matters and client relationships. The position combines hands-on trial work with relationship management and long-range planning for the practice.
What you'll do
- Run litigation for debtor clients in bankruptcy court, from lawsuits within a case to disputed motions and hearings.
- Assume responsibility for an existing docket and the client relationships of a senior partner who is retiring.
- Work alongside the current bankruptcy lawyers and the wider litigation group.
- Nurture client relationships and seek out referrals from colleagues in other practice areas.
- Guide each matter through every phase, from early strategy to courtroom advocacy and final resolution.
- Help shape the next chapter of the practice as a future leader of the firm.
