This role calls for speed, focus, organization, and personality — all while following strict recipes, company standards, and Maryland state alcohol laws.

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for both direct bar guests and high-volume service bar tickets, delivering efficient, professional, and compliant service every step of the way. You’ll operate cocktail-on-tap systems, follow precise recipe sheets, and keep multiple bar areas running smoothly — from Tiki House to Main Deck to Adult Beach — even when the summer crowds roll in heavy. This is a tip-pooled position, meaning all tips earned while clocked in under this role are shared among bartenders working the same shift. Successful bartenders at de Lazy Lizard thrive in fast-paced environments, genuinely enjoy interacting with guests, stay calm under pressure, and bring upbeat, laid-back island energy to every shift. You should be organized, reliable, team-driven, and comfortable using POS systems and handheld devices.
