Breakfast Chef

As Breakfast Chef, you’re the calm before the storm – the early riser who sets the tone for the day. Before most guests have even stirred, you’re already at the pass, bringing energy, focus, and flavour to the kitchen. Every dish that leaves your hands carries your pride and precision, from the first perfectly poached egg to the final golden croissant.

You’re not just cooking breakfast – you’re creating a guest’s first impression of the day. Whether you're quietly leading the section during a busy morning service or lending a steady hand to a teammate, your consistency and care make you a vital part of the kitchen team.

Our team are the heart and soul of all we do. Here’s what you’ll be up to:

• Leading or supporting the breakfast service with confidence, calm, and care.
• Preparing, cleaning and organising ingredients to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation across your section.
• Staying ahead of prep and planning needs to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Supporting the wider kitchen team wherever needed with a hands-on, can-do attitude.

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Breakfast Chef who takes pride in preparing great food and maintaining high standards, and who enjoys being part of a busy kitchen team.

The hours are 28 per week, working 5am to 12pm, 4 days over 7.

You'll bring:

• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• A good understanding of food hygiene and safety
• Strong preparation and organisational skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistently high standards
• A flexible, hands-on approach
• Reliability and punctuality, which are essential for an early start

We live by our values – and we’d love you to bring them to life every day:

• Open – We’re proud to be a place where people can bring their whole selves to work.
• Nimble - We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and isn’t afraid to take initiative.
• Brilliant – Brilliance means going above and beyond and celebrating the impact we make together.
• Honest – You’ll be part of a team that believes in doing the right thing.

Bring your personality, positivity and passion for people and we’ll give you the training and support to shine.
