What will you be doing:
The incumbent will be hands-on building and shipping agents yourself, while also growing and leading a small engineering team as it scales. You will bring senior software engineering judgment to a fast-evolving space, with the freedom to set technical direction on architecture and stack. You will build the product from source across our .NET Framework and .NET Core codebases, and prepare complete, verified deployment assets for each release. Own and execute production releases during scheduled off-hours windows, including web applications on IIS, Windows Services, and SQL Server database changes. Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate deployments to lower environments and production. Automate database deployment — schema changes, stored procedures, and data migration — as a reviewed, repeatable part of the release process. Support developers in improving branching strategy and the local development experience. Lead diagnosis of deployment-related issues across the application, web, service, and database tiers. Partner with our cloud engineering team on the infrastructure and environment improvements that reliable delivery depends on.
