About the role
This is a high-impact Senior Business Analyst opportunity embedded within a large, globally recognised technology organisation undergoing a significant HCM and payroll transformation. Working closely with the People & Culture function and reporting to the Senior Payroll Project Manager, you will support the delivery of a complex payroll migration spanning Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. You will act as the critical link between regional business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors, translating complex payroll processes into clear functional requirements and supporting system design, data migration, testing, and change adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Lead current-state analysis of payroll processes across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, identifying process gaps, system dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate discovery workshops with regional payroll, HR, technology, and vendor stakeholders to capture, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
- Develop detailed functional specifications, process maps, and future-state workflows to support HCM and payroll system design, configuration, and implementation.
- Support payroll data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and resolution of data quality issues across multiple markets.
- Coordinate and support end-to-end testing activities, including integration testing, parallel payroll testing, UAT, defect management, and issue resolution to ensure system accuracy and readiness.
- Partner with project and change teams to maintain documentation, support stakeholder communications, coordinate training, and ensure a smooth transition to the new payroll environment.
About you
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering complex systems implementations or transformation programs, ideally involving payroll, HRIS, or HCM platforms.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-country or regional projects, with the ability to navigate different payroll processes, compliance requirements, and stakeholder expectations across Asian markets.
- Strong business analysis capability across requirements elicitation, process mapping, functional specifications, gap analysis, and end-to-end system testing.
- Experience with HCM or HRIS platforms such as Workday or equivalent enterprise solutions, with exposure to payroll migration, data mapping, and parallel testing highly regarded.
