The engineer works closely with IT and business teams to improve process consistency, data quality, user experience, system reliability, and operational visibility while balancing immediate business needs with security, governance, scalability, supportability, and total cost of ownership.
Key Responsibilities

- Configure, extend, test, deploy, and support IFS Cloud functionality across relevant business areas, using standard capabilities wherever practical and controlled customization when justified.
- Analyze business processes and requirements; create solution designs, functional specifications, technical requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
- Develop and support integrations among IFS Cloud, MES, document management, data platforms, manufacturing systems, vendor applications, and other enterprise services using APIs, messaging, file exchange, and scheduled interfaces.
- Develop and maintain application workflows, events, notifications, reports, dashboards, data extracts, queries, and automation that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Use SQL, APIs, scripting, low-code tools, and approved development frameworks to troubleshoot data issues, automate repeatable work, and deliver maintainable application enhancements.
