Business Development Executive

Seeking a self-sourcing sales representative to sell our platform to US omnichannel retailers across pharmacy, grocery, food and beverage, apparel, and beauty. You’ll build your own pipeline through outbound, events, and referrals, run discovery and demos with senior buyers (CMOs, ecommerce leaders, CIOs/CTOs), and own the full sales cycle through to a signed agreement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Generate pipeline: Build and work a target-account list of US omnichannel retailers in pharmacy, grocery and food and beverage, apparel and fashion, and beauty and accessories, using outbound email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, referrals and events.
• Work in the retail community: Represent our product at industry forums, retail associations and conferences (for example NRF, RILA, Shoptalk, eTail and CommerceNext), and turn attendance into booked meetings and conversations.
• Run discovery and present demos with senior buyers: Meet CMOs, ecommerce and digital leaders, CIOs and CTOs, and operations heads, with guidance from senior team members.Map the buying group and build deals with several champions.
• Own the process end to end: Qualify, scope, propose, negotiate, and guide the prospect through security and procurement review to a signed agreement.
• Partner with our product and technical teams: Work with colleagues at our headquarters to create collateral, proposals, case studies and pilot scopes, and to define the data and integration needs of each prospect.
• Carry market feedback back to the product: Collect feedback on objections, competitors, pricing and feature gaps, and share it regularly so it shapes the roadmap.
• Maintain the pipeline: Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast realistically, and report on pipeline each week.
