Why you will love this opportunity as a Business Development Manager at Civica
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Education business and help schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, colleges and universities transform the way they manage and deliver essential services.

This is a new business-focused role for someone who enjoys opening opportunities, navigating multiple stakeholders and managing the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to close. You’ll manage a varied pipeline, prioritise the strongest opportunities and create clear close plans that maintain momentum throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth and expand existing relationships across a portfolio of Education customers within a defined UK territory.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across schools, MATs, colleges and universities, positioning Civica's solutions to meet strategic objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity creation through to negotiation, close and account growth.
- Develop and execute effective account and territory plans to build pipeline, prioritise opportunities and maximise revenue.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and close plans within Salesforce, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

- Experience managing a territory, account base or portfolio of customers
- A strong track record of identifying opportunities and closing new business
