About the role**

You will work closely with Global Account Managers, country leaders, and regional sales teams to identify, shape, and win complex, high-value networking opportunities across the Nordics.

You will connect customer business priorities with HPE Networking’s portfolio, including AI-driven operations and self-driving networks, building compelling business cases and engaging executive decision-makers.

This role requires hands-on ownership of strategic pursuits while reinforcing the Global Account Manager’s overall account leadership.

What you’ll do

• Accelerate installed-base growth: Identify opportunities to expand HPE Networking’s footprint across customer sites, countries, business units, and solution areas.
• Win new large customers: Develop and execute targeted entry strategies for priority accounts, creating a clear path from initial engagement to first win and broader adoption.
• Own strategic pursuits: Lead agreed opportunities from qualification through to close, with clear accountability for milestones, resources, and outcomes.
• Strengthen account strategy: Partner with Global Account Managers to translate Account Business Plans into actionable growth initiatives and Strategic Opportunity Plans.
• Build executive engagement: Develop trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders, connecting networking investments to measurable business outcomes.
• Differentiate through customer value: Position HPE Networking’s AI-driven and self-driving network strategy around operational efficiency, resilience, security, and user experience.
• Mobilize the wider organization: Bring together technical specialists, services teams, industry experts, partners, and Global System Integrators to build and execute winning propositions.
• Connect Nordic opportunities with global potential: Coordinate with international account teams to support multinational decisions and scale local wins across customer operations.
• Maintain commercial discipline: Build qualified pipeline, validate customer decision processes, maintain credible forecasts, and drive clear next steps.
• Scale successful approaches: Share customer insights, competitive intelligence, and repeatable winning practices across the NWE Global & Major Accounts team.

What you bring**

• Significant experience, typically 8+ years in enterprise or strategic technology sales, with a strong record of delivering growth.
• Proven success in both expanding existing strategic accounts and winning new large customers.
• Experience leading complex, high-value pursuits within multinational organizations and navigating multiple stakeholders and decision-making structures.
• Strong executive presence, commercial judgment, and the ability to build compelling, outcome-based business cases.
• Experience developing account strategies, competitive positioning, and structured opportunity plans.
• The ability to lead through influence across account teams, countries, technical functions, and partner organizations.
• A proactive, accountable approach: you create opportunities, take ownership, and turn strategy into execution.
• Understanding of enterprise networking and its role in digital transformation; experience with AI-driven networking, cloud, or security is an advantage.
• Based in the Nordics, with professional fluency in English and the local language, with willingness to travel across the region and internationally as required.

Scope and impact**

• Responsibility for agreed global and major accounts and strategic prospects across the Nordic region.
• Cross-industry scope, with a focus on complex customers offering significant growth potential.
• Senior, quota-carrying position within the NWE Global & Major Accounts organization.
• Success measured through revenue growth, qualified pipeline creation, new-logo wins, and expansion of HPE Networking’s share of wallet.
• Direct contribution to building repeatable growth across installed-base expansion and new-customer acquisition.

Reporting line:** Reports directly to the Global & Major Accounts Leader for North-Western Europe, working as part of an international team in close partnership with Nordic country leadership and Global Account Managers.
