The Opportunity

As Business Development Manager - Perimeter, you'll drive growth of Gallagher Security's perimeter security solutions throughout the Americas, with a primary focus on the U.S. market. It's a chance to put your security sales expertise to work with a global brand that's known for protecting some of the world's most critical sites.

This is a true hunting role. You'll be out there finding, developing and closing new business with end users across commercial, industrial, government and critical infrastructure markets, from early conversations and site visits right through to winning the deal.

You'll work closely with our regional sales teams, channel partners and technical specialists to bring the right solutions to every customer.

This is a remote, USA-based role.As you'll be travelling frequently (up to three times a month), we'd love you to be based within easy reach of a major airport, and you'll need to be flexible with travel as customer and project needs change. What You'll Do

• Find and win new end-user customers across a wide range of sites, from logistics hubs and utilities to correctional facilities and government sites.

• Build and manage your own pipeline through proactive prospecting, site visits, networking and industry events.

• Own the full sales cycle, from first conversation and site assessment through to proposal, negotiation and close.

• Build strong relationships with end users, consultants, integrators and fencing specialists, getting involved early so Gallagher is part of the conversation from the start.

• Partner with our sales, channel and technical teams to design solutions that meet each customer's security needs, and share what you're hearing in the market to help shape our growth plans.

What You'll Bring

You're a natural hunter who loves creating opportunities and getting out on site. You build trust by really understanding your customers' security challenges, and you enjoy working with a team to solve them.

We're looking for someone with:

• 3+ years' B2B perimeter security sales experience, with a track record of winning net-new business.

• Confidence owning the full sales cycle and building your own pipeline.

• Solid knowledge of perimeter and physical security technologies, and an understanding of what high-security environments need.

• Experience with electric pulse fencing, channel partners or integrators (a real bonus).

• Strong relationship skills and the confidence to connect with everyone from site managers to executives.

• A self-motivated approach, plus the flexibility to travel frequently (up to three times a month), mainly within the USA.
