Business Development Representative – EMEA

Join Waitwhile as our first BDR in Europe and help build our outbound motion in EMEA from the ground up. You’ll have real ownership, make a visible impact, and grow alongside the company.

Who we are💙

Here at Waitwhile we’re on a mission to eliminate the 1 trillion hours people spend waiting in lines every year. Our platform combines virtual waitlists, scheduling, real-time updates, messaging, and analytics to make access to places, services, and events seamless, online or in person. Trusted by 10,000+ companies, Waitwhile has already helped millions of people enjoy a radically better waiting experience. Our clients include IKEA, Nike, Costco, Delta Airlines and many more. We’re just getting started, and we need your help.

The role

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to help expand Waitwhile’s presence in EMEA and bring our platform to even more businesses across Europe.

You’ll own the front end of the sales process, from researching target accounts and engaging decision-makers through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn to booking qualified meetings. Your focus will be on the Nordics and new European markets, across industries including retail, luxury retail, travel, hospitality, and healthcare.

You’ll work closely with a Stockholm-based Account Executive, as well as with Marketing and sales leadership, to build pipeline, refine messaging, and shape how outbound is done at Waitwhile in EMEA.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys prospecting, building new markets from scratch, and making a visible impact on the growth of a fast-growing SaaS company,

What you’ll do

• Drive outbound prospecting: Reach decision-makers in retail, luxury retail, travel, hospitality, and healthcare through a balanced mix of cold calls, email, and LinkedIn.

• Book qualified meetings: Generate interest and set up meetings for your Account Executive, and help turn them into real sales opportunities.

• Research and personalize: Identify key accounts and buyers, and tailor your outreach where it matters while keeping strong activity levels.

• Help build the outbound playbook: Partner with sales leadership to refine targeting, messaging, talk tracks, and sequences for the EMEA market.

• Work smart with modern tools: Prospect and execute outreach in Amplemarket (with AI-powered research and personalization), Trellus, and ZoomInfo, and keep clean data in HubSpot.

• Collaborate cross-functionally: Act on engagement from Marketing campaigns and share feedback with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to improve messaging and targeting.

• Share market insights: Bring insights and objections from your conversations with prospects back to the wider team.

What skills you need

• Around 1–2 years of B2B sales experience. Earlier in your career with relevant internships and a strong drive? We still want to hear from you.

• Fluent English and full professional proficiency in German or French.

• Confidence on the phone and strong written communication, especially in cold outreach.

• Curiosity about how businesses operate, not just about booking meetings.

• Coachability and a bias for action: you test, learn, and adjust quickly.

• An ownership mindset and a competitive drive to hit and exceed targets.

Bonus Skills & Attributes:

• Experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling SaaS into retail.

• Experience from other B2B environments such as fintech, pharma, or other tech-related sales.

• Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Amplemarket, ZoomInfo, or Salesloft.

• A relevant education, such as a university degree or a vocational sales program (YH).
