Flatpay is one of Europe's fastest-growing fintech companies, now expanding rapidly across the UK. We build simple, transparent payment solutions for independent merchants, and we are growing the team that puts those solutions in front of them.

The Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will be on the phone every day, reaching out to merchants, sparking genuine interest in Flatpay's payment solutions, and booking meetings for our Sales Managers.

This is a high-volume, outbound role. You will hear no more than yes. You will be expected to hit targets, take feedback, and keep improving. The earning potential is real, and the progression is fast for people who earn it.

We are not looking for a finished article. We are looking for someone coachable enough to become one fast. No scripts to hide behind: just you, the phone, and the ability to think on your feet.

What You Will Do

• Make outbound cold calls to merchants every day to generate interest in Flatpay

• Qualify leads and book on-site meetings for Sales Managers

• Keep CRM data clean and activity logs accurate

• Refine your approach based on results and coaching

• Feed back on merchant responses, competitor insights and what is and is not working

What We Are Looking For

• Someone who picks up the phone without hesitation and keeps going when it is hard

• Strong verbal communicator who gets to the point and builds trust quickly

• Comfortable working to daily and weekly targets and tracking your own numbers

• Genuinely open to feedback and fast to apply it

• Organised, self-directed and able to manage your own pipeline without being chased
