At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock and inspire performance for life. WHOOP believes in the power of humans to transform how they feel, perform and age; we serve the aspiring.
WHOOP is hiring a Business Operations Program Manager to help drive the operating rhythms, strategic priorities, and cross-functional initiatives that enable our Operations organization to execute and scale. This Boston-based position is an individual-contributor role with no direct reports.
You will work across Operations and partner closely with teams including Analytics, Finance, Membership Services, and Business Systems to translate company and Operations priorities into actionable plans, drive execution, and ensure teams have the clarity, information, and accountability needed to deliver results. Your work will span areas such as strategic planning, OKRs, operational performance, retention and member experience, executive reporting, AI adoption, and other high-priority Operations initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, highly organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by turning complex problems into clear actions and measurable outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage key Operations operating rhythms, including OKR planning and tracking, executive reviews, status reporting, decision logs, and stakeholder follow-through.
- Support Operations strategic planning and prioritization by translating leadership priorities into clear initiatives, workplans, owners, milestones, and success measures.
- Partner with Analytics and Finance to evolve the Operations Scorecard and identify performance trends, size opportunities, and translate insights into initiatives that improve cost efficiency, retention, and member experience.
- Own defined cross-functional initiatives from scoping through execution, managing dependencies, risks, stakeholder inputs, decisions, and outcome tracking.
- Develop clear, concise executive communications and presentations that synthesize complex data, discussions, risks, and recommendations into actionable takeaways.
- Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, align stakeholders on priorities and tradeoffs, and proactively surface risks or decisions requiring escalation.
- Partner with centralized AI and technology teams to identify high-value Operations use cases, drive adoption, and translate company-wide capabilities into practical workflows for Operations teams.
- Support broader organizational priorities such as planning processes, operating model improvements, hiring and organizational initiatives, and other high-priority work as business needs evolve.
