Skills
Must have
- 6+ years in value consulting, value engineering, management consulting, or a strategy or finance role supporting enterprise SaaS, with direct involvement in deals of $500K+ ACV and the post-sale relat
- A track record of building business cases and ROI/TCO models that executive buyers used to justify a purchase, and of defending those models under scrutiny from finance and procurement
- Experience measuring realized value after go-live: defining success metrics with a customer, instrumenting them, and presenting results to an executive sponsor at a renewal or business review
- Fluency in how enterprises account for software, internal engineering capacity, and vendor spend: cost of delay, fully loaded developer cost, opportunity cost of backlog, build-vs-buy, and consumption
- Comfort working across the full customer lifecycle and across functions. You can hold your own with a sales leader on deal strategy, a CSM on adoption risk, and a transformation lead on change managem
- A systems builder as much as a consultant: you’ve productized your own work (calculators, applications, dashboards, enablement) so others could run it without you
- Strong executive presence: you can run a value discovery workshop with a VP of Engineering in the morning and present a CFO-ready summary the same afternoon
- Analytical rigor paired with commercial judgment: you know which assumptions matter, how to source them from the customer, and when a model is good enough to move a decision
- Fluency with AI tools in your daily workflow, and the curiosity to build in Lovable yourself so your value claims are grounded in what the product does
- Preferred: experience quantifying value for developer tools, low-code or no-code platforms, AI platforms, or internal-tooling categories
Full description
TL;DR:
We’re hiring a Business Value Consultant to own how Lovable quantifies, delivers, and proves value across the customer journey. You’ll work with Sales to build the business cases that win enterprise deals, with Customer Success to measure and report realized value after go-live, and with our Head of Transformation to help the largest accounts turn Lovable into an organization-wide change in how software gets built. You’ll work two ways at once: hands-on in our most strategic accounts, and through scaled tooling that lets every Account Executive, Solutions Architect, and Customer Success Manager run a credible value conversation without you in the room. This is the first hire in the function, and you will define how Lovable talks about value.
Please note: this role is based in one of our US hubs (San Francisco, New York City, or Boston). It is not eligible for remote work, and we are unable to support visa sponsorship or transfers at this time.
Why Lovable?
Lovable is the software creation platform that gives people the power to act on the problems closest to them. For decades, turning an idea into software required so much capital, technical fluency, and time that many ideas never came to life. Lovable is the counterargument: a platform for all people with ideas, ambition, and problems worth solving. From solopreneurs to small business owners to teams at companies like Adidas and Zendesk, people have built over 60 million projects on Lovable since its launch in November 2024. And we’re just getting started.
We’re building a generational company from Stockholm, with growing teams in London, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. Our team is small, talent-dense, and moving quickly, with a culture rooted in extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. We look for people who care deeply, ship fast, and are eager to make a dent in the world.
Lovable is one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies and has been recognized on the Forbes AI 50 and CNBC Disruptor 50, reflecting our momentum as one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI companies and one of the most ambitious places to build in this next era of software.
The Role
Enterprises invest in Lovable when a CFO, CIO, or line-of-business leader can see, in their own numbers, what changes when thousands of employees can build load-bearing software without waiting in an engineering queue. Today that work is spread across Account Executives, Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, and our transformation team. This role owns the entire customer value lifecycle: the value hypothesis at first conversation, the business case that clears procurement, the success plan the customer signs up to, the realized-value review at renewal, and the transformation narrative that takes a customer from one team to the whole company.
