Pay Rate: $39.00 - $41.00 Per hour (Based on Experience)
Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital
Schedule: Mon-Fri 3:00pm-11:30pm
Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising all employees on an assigned shift in Sterile Processing (SP) performing duties associated with cleaning, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, as well as storage and transport of specific instrumentation, surgical sets and patient care equipment while incorporating safety and customer service expectations.
- Supervises daily operational tasks for Sterile Processing Staff members on a given shift.
- Oversees the Sterile Processing staff and directs all operations related to decontamination, assembly &Sterilization of surgical instruments
- Provides quality assurance to sterile processing functions
- Coordinates with Sterile Processing Educator to provide education to shift-based staff. Oversee a shift employee participation in educational programs
- Communicates effectively and consistently to superiors, peers, and employees. Routinely provides others with the information they need to do their jobs.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
