Job Overview
We are looking for a
Chef Engineer
with strong experience in
Windows infrastructure, configuration management, automation and DevOps practices . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and automating Windows infrastructure environments using
Chef and BigFix , while supporting infrastructure stability, standardization and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot
Chef cookbooks, recipes and configurations
for Windows infrastructure.
Manage configuration, patching and software deployment across
Windows server environments .
Work with
BigFix
for endpoint/server management, patch management, software distribution and compliance.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and operational activities using scripting and DevOps practices.
Support Windows infrastructure across development, testing and production environments.
Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security and DevOps teams to support releases and environment changes.
Implement configuration standards, automation and repeatable deployment processes.
Participate in incident, problem and change management activities.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and configuration records.
Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, automation and operational efficiency.
