CNC Milling Machinist/ProgrammerLocation: Wixom, Michigan
Pay: $30–$35/hour, based on experience and level of independence

Our client is a full-service machine shop specializing in CNC milling, turning, and grinding. They are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Machinist/Programmer who can confidently set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and program HAAS CNC milling machines
- Program and edit CNC programs using Mastercam
- Perform basic conversational programming and program edits at the machine
- Set up and machine prototype, specialty, and small production-run parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Select appropriate tooling and cutting parameters
- Perform in-process inspections and verify finished parts meet specifications
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout machining operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
RequirementsMUST HAVE:
- Minimum 3 years of 5-axis CNC machining experience
- Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills

Compensation & Opportunity
$30–$35/hour based on experience and skill level. The top end of the range is intended for an experienced machinist/programmer who can independently program, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and produce quality parts with minimal assistance.
