Join our snack-loving team

We’re looking for a Process Lead to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.

Who are we?

We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.

About the role

As a Process Lead at KP Snacks, you’ll play a key role in driving manufacturing performance through data, problem-solving and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Line Lead and Maintenance Lead, you’ll be responsible for Daily Management System (DMS) processes, helping identify and eliminate losses while building capability across the production team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing performance, improving processes and coaching others. You’ll use structured problem-solving techniques to identify opportunities, recommend solutions and support the delivery of operational excellence. Through collaboration, data-driven decision making and a continuous improvement mindset, you'll help maximise line performance, improve efficiency and ensure sustainable results.

What’s in it for you?

We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:

• Competitive annual salary

• KP Pension Plan with up to 7% matched contributions

• 25 days holiday, with the option to buy up to five additional days for more flexibility

• Comprehensive healthcare support including Health Cash Plan, Digital GP and Employee Assistance Programme

• KP4ME benefits platform with discounts, cashback, wellbeing tools and everyday savings

• Enhanced family-friendly policies to support colleagues at every stage of life

What will you be doing?

• Owning and developing Daily Management Systems by leading Centre Line Management and Changeover DMS activities that improve line performance, consistency and operational efficiency

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives through health checks, data analysis and structured problem-solving to identify equipment and process opportunities

• Coaching and building capability across the team by working closely with Equipment Owners, Line Leads and colleagues to share best practice and support skills development

• Reducing losses and improving performance through the identification and elimination of machine losses, optimisation of changeovers and implementation of sustainable countermeasures

• Using data to support decision making by analysing trends, improving reporting systems and providing recommendations that enhance operational performance

We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:

• A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent (desirable), with a sound understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing operations

• Strong process and problem-solving capability with the ability to analyse data, identify root causes and implement effective solutions

• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the confidence to collaborate across teams, coach colleagues and support positive change

• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools to analyse performance, track improvements and communicate findings effectively

• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for learning, developing new skills and driving operational excellence

• Experience within a manufacturing environment and an understanding of performance improvement, equipment reliability or production processes

• A collaborative and positive approach that reflects KP Snacks values, encourages teamwork and supports a culture of ownership and accountability
