A Day in the Life:
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, with a focus on reliability, performance, and offline functionality.
- Lead the development of a shared offline package that supports local caching, queued operations, background synchronization, and connectivity state management.
- Integrate shared offline capabilities into Workforce Tools and WFHQ, ensuring consistent functionality and data handling across both applications.
- Implement local data persistence and background synchronization strategies that allow applications to function reliably during intermittent or extended periods of lost connectivity.
- Develop offline-first conflict resolution strategies to manage data synchronization, maintain data integrity, and address discrepancies between locally stored and server-side information.
- Build intuitive data-age indicators and safeguards that prevent users from performing unsafe actions when application data is stale or connectivity is limited.
- Leverage hands-on experience with Claude and Claude Code to support mobile development, troubleshooting, code optimization, and testing activities.
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests covering offline functionality, application restarts, synchronization recovery, and extended offline scenarios.
- Validate application performance and reliability across various devices and operating system versions, identifying and resolving compatibility issues.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable mobile solutions.
