We are looking for a Country Manager who is passionate and wants to play a key role in a company that is shaping a sustainable future. The Country Manager Bulgaria has overall responsibility for the performance and execution of Eldrive's Bulgarian business. The role combines operational leadership with strong business development responsibility and carries accountability for delivering the country's annual budget targets.

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the Country Manager ensures that Group strategy, policies and standards are implemented effectively in Bulgaria. The role operates within a matrix organization, working closely with Group functional leaders responsible for Finance, Marketing, Infrastructure Development and other functions. The Country Manager is responsible for ensuring that these functions work together efficiently at country level, while taking a leading and entrepreneurial role in developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Job Responsibilities

• Own the overall performance of Eldrive Bulgaria, ensuring that the local organization delivers the Group strategy, annual business plan, budget and operational targets.
• Translate Group strategy into an executable country plan, with clear priorities, responsibilities, timelines and KPIs, and ensure disciplined implementation across all local functions.
• Take full responsibility for achieving the annual country budget, including revenue, EBITDA, installed network capacity, CAPEX deployment, utilization and other agreed operational and commercial KPIs.
• Drive operational excellence across the Bulgarian business, ensuring that processes are efficient, scalable, well controlled and consistently executed to Group standards.
• Monitor country performance through management accounts, P&L, budgets, forecasts and operational dashboards; identify deviations early and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong control over the country's cost structure, productivity and operational efficiency, continuously identifying opportunities to improve margins and optimize resource allocation.
• Lead business development activities in Bulgaria, identifying and developing new commercial opportunities, partnerships, locations, customers and strategic projects in line with Group priorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, landlords, retailers, fleet operators, automotive partners, public-sector stakeholders, municipalities, utilities and other relevant counterparties.
• Develop and negotiate strategic commercial partnerships and major business opportunities, coordinating closely with the Group CEO on material transactions, strategic accounts and significant commitments.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of business development opportunities and ensure disciplined follow-up, prioritization and conversion.
• Act as the central coordination point for the Bulgarian organization, ensuring effective communication, cooperation and workflow between local departments.
• Work closely with Group functional leaders and ensure that local teams operate in accordance with their respective functional policies, standards and priorities:
• Ensure that the matrix organization works effectively, resolving cross-functional issues, removing operational bottlenecks and escalating material matters to the relevant Group executive when necessary.
• Respect and enforce Group governance, policies and decision-making authorities, ensuring that local initiatives remain aligned with Group strategy and that matters requiring Group approval are escalated appropriately.
• Coordinate preparation of the annual country budget and business plan together with Group management and functional leaders, and take ownership of its execution throughout the year.
• Ensure that investment projects and CAPEX are delivered within approved budgets, timelines and return expectations, working closely with the infrastructure and finance teams.

What We Expect

• Ability to understand management accounts and operational data, identify the underlying drivers of performance and translate analysis into concrete management actions.
• Experience working in a matrix organization, where local teams have both country-level and functional Group reporting lines.
