About Company:

Kalo Companies was founded out of a pure passion for people. Our goals, ambitions, and inspirations have come together to form a truly amazing company.

Since starting in 2009, we have worked to build a team that allows individuals to grow and expand their skills. We have continued to grow as a business and as a family, we truly believe in putting people first and giving to give back to our communities. Both of our brands are a reflection of our core values of serving others with delicious fresh ingredients with southern hospitality.

Team Kalo has grown its ownership of Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurant franchises to 68 stores located across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Its goal is to reach 75 units by the end of 2024. In 2022 Kalo expanded to two brands welcoming Slim Chickens to the Kalo Companies portfolio. Opening the first location in Tallahassee on Monroe St. Slim Chickens has expanded and grown to include two locations in Tallahassee and five additional across the panhandle of Florida.

Team Kalo, which employs almost 1000 people, owns and operates each of its locations and through its management company, Kalo Restaurant Group, LLC (KRG), provides the management, operational and administrative support for all of its locations. Team Kalo is building on its past success and expanding its own footprint throughout the southeast.
